Active duty navy fy 2016

Hey guys/gals I'm just wondering if their is anyone applying for this upcoming fy 2016 for direct commission into the navy. I guess I should have mentioned that I was referring to the nurse corps.

Talked with my recruiter today and was told I got professionally recommended by the board but as an alternate spot. Will most likely get commissioned in October!!!!

Alternate spots get rolled into next FY. I can always get commissioned earlier if someone does not accept offer to commission.

So got a call from my recruiter today. I was an alternate as of the last board in December and now have been upgraded to a selectee. They have opened more slots for critical care nurses and I am currently in scroll as I type this. Should be getting my official letter in he next couple weeks and from there commissioning and ODS!!!!! Maybe I will see you at ODS in May after all USNHM2RN.

No word from detailer yet. Should have scroll back this month, then commissioning and so on. Where do you want to be stationed???

Heard from the detailer yesterday and looks like ODS May 22 and then on to Portsmouth Naval Medical Center!!!! Have you heard anything yet ShunRNBSN??

Sorry HM3RNBSN,BSN, for the late respond. It has been very busy for me this last month. I will be doing my own move so I been trying to get things in place before ODS. I'm going to ODS on June 26th and then I'll be going to Bethesda, MD for my first assignment. Have you got a chance to talk to your recruiter about the sign on bonus or when they will give the sign on bonus?

No worries. I understand the busy right now. Congrats on Bethesda!!! Have not heard anything about bonus yet. Waiting on COMDOCS so was really surprised when detailer called me last week. Why are you moving yourself?? Just curious.

Hey there! I will be at ODS on June 26th as well and I have orders to Fort Belvoir. I am so excited. I hear great things about that duty station. What is your speciality. Mine is NICU.
