Hey everybody!
I just wanted to start a separate thread regarding our acceptance into the FSCJ (a.k.a. FCCJ) Summer 2010 "RN" program. I know we've all been posting to the "hopefuls" page but now that we aren't "hopefuls" anymore, and we're more like "stressfuls"... I thought I'd start a new page... JOIN ME! :)
I guess it is technically called something else other than "RN program" but... here we go anyway.
I'm still a bit confused as to whether, during orientation, I should be more focused on getting a hospital close to my house or a teacher that will be great during my first term.
Does anyone have any suggestions on this? I've always made the teacher my first priority but I'm curious as to whether or not, those of you who have been there, think that there is a big enough difference in teachers that we would be wise to drive for miles to get to a specific one.
What kind of info will be shared during this meeting?I was gonna spend my day watching basketball, but if important info is being shared, I might try to come by.
It's just an opportunity to get together, meet, talk about this wonderful journey we are taking together and plan for the upcoming weeks. I can share what I learned the first week and yes, i'm even going to bring my text books (the 4 primary only) so you can look at them. These are the people who will be poking and prodding on you, it's time to say HI:eek:. If you go into this process with a study plan, you will get further. Remember, this is the weeding out term. Schedule a recording and join us!!:balloons:
Im not sure.
In the paper for the meridys thing, it says something about the order/payment deadline being on April 29.
Then it says the ship date is May 19 and the uniform date is June 13.
Does this mean we have to order before 4/29 and even if we order it early, we wont be getting it shipped till 5/19?
Hi everyone,Do we need to have our uniforms and polo shirt ordered by the first day of class? I'm trying to space out some of our school expenses and wasn't sure if I could push that one out a bit.
No you don't.
Polo shirts are worn basically when you do your community service and orient @ the hospitals.
Clinicals don't begin until the 8th week.
You have plenty of time.
