Accepted FSCJ Summer 2010 Students

Hey everybody!

I just wanted to start a separate thread regarding our acceptance into the FSCJ (a.k.a. FCCJ) Summer 2010 "RN" program. I know we've all been posting to the "hopefuls" page but now that we aren't "hopefuls" anymore, and we're more like "stressfuls"... I thought I'd start a new page... JOIN ME! :)

I guess it is technically called something else other than "RN program" but... here we go anyway.

I'm still a bit confused as to whether, during orientation, I should be more focused on getting a hospital close to my house or a teacher that will be great during my first term.

Does anyone have any suggestions on this? I've always made the teacher my first priority but I'm curious as to whether or not, those of you who have been there, think that there is a big enough difference in teachers that we would be wise to drive for miles to get to a specific one.

That was alot of good info, I also dropped everything off today so now I'm just looking forward to orientation.

I don't have a preference where we meet, I'll make the drive. I live on the Westside and so far those of us that want to meet live in different areas. I'm free all day Sunday up to 5:00. So anyplace and time before that I'm game.

Butterflymom - do you mind maybe making it a little closer to Mandarin so Misti can make it as well?

SaraFL - too bad you can't make it this weekend.

Anyone else care to join us? The more the merrier:)

Is the Town Center good? There are 2 Starbucks there, or is that not close to Mandarin. I don't mind a drive.

Sunday at 2pm at the Town Center sounds perfect! But how 'bout we meet at Panera Bread instead of Starbucks. It has alot more space in case its crowded and parking is alot easier.

I think Panera is a better idea. They always have a good sitting area.

I wonder if we can convince someone who is in the program now to join us? We can buy them a cup of coffee and a danish in exchange for good info!
