So, I would really like to get into UMass Amherst for there 2015-2016 cycle, so I will be sending in my application soon for there February 2015 deadline.
I'm just wondering if I even have a chance since my Bachelors in Biology overall GPA is a 2.99, then I took a summer course (Microbiology) at a community college and received an A. Hopefully that'll boost my GPA up for my degree?
I also have over 2,500 hours as a Certified Nursing Assistant, and I've studied abroad in England/Ireland for a Biology course.
This is my number one school that I would like to get into too, I was just wondering other peoples statistics on their GPA average, GPA for their pre-reqs, and if anyone has been or is in the program can tell me about it?
I was interviewed march 2nd by a teacher who teaches some of our first classes, is that a bad or good thing?? And I still haven't received my letter ! It's killing me!! Anyone have any input???
I still haven't heard either, and I was told in my interview that I was a very strong candidate. I don't like that they're staggering the letters...
I know several people who have done the program (I live locally) and one of the criticisms I've heard has to do with disorganization. Maybe that's coming into play here?
I had my interview on 2/26 and still haven't gotten any letter, the person who interviewed me said that I should expect to hear back in mid April,, but many of you already got the acceptance letters..
I called today to find out when I should expect to hear... left a message. I'll let you know if I hear anything. Glad there are several others waiting, too... I was starting to feel like the only one!

I tried looking for the group on Facebook and I cant find it, I found the one from last year. Is the name above spelled right?
