So, I would really like to get into UMass Amherst for there 2015-2016 cycle, so I will be sending in my application soon for there February 2015 deadline.

I'm just wondering if I even have a chance since my Bachelors in Biology overall GPA is a 2.99, then I took a summer course (Microbiology) at a community college and received an A. Hopefully that'll boost my GPA up for my degree?

I also have over 2,500 hours as a Certified Nursing Assistant, and I've studied abroad in England/Ireland for a Biology course.

This is my number one school that I would like to get into too, I was just wondering other peoples statistics on their GPA average, GPA for their pre-reqs, and if anyone has been or is in the program can tell me about it?

@Lilylover91, if you don't mind asking you , is your GPA is below 3.4?

Hi, are you referring to undergrad GPA or prerequisite GPA? I thought they don't look into undergrad GPA. Thanks!

Hi everyone! I got accepted for 2016 and I was just wondering if someone could answer a question for me!

the scrub store near my house is closing and having a huge liquidation sale, I was thinking I would take advantage of that- but I wasn't sure if it was necessary to buy the scrubs required from the school. If we don't have to buy them from the school, what kind are required and how many would you guys recommend buying?

I Know they'll go over all this at orientation, but that store has 60-80% off everything so I figured that would be great if I could just get that stuff bought :)

Hey All! I'm starting the program in the Summer(August) 2016 as well and I wanted to get a head start on my health requirements. Is the link I attached below the correct immunization form for nursing students? Thanks so much!
