To everyone taking microbiology: You've got this, feel free to hit me up if you get stuck on anything! It's my all-time favorite subject, I actually tutored it for a few quarters at my local community college ;).

To the NC natives / residents: Is Durham a nice city to live in? Is there a reason to consider renting a place in one of the surrounding towns like Apex, Cary, Cameron, Chapel Hill instead? I would love to learn more about the area, I've never been to the south let alone NC!

I used to live in Chapel Hill, Durham definitely has its good areas and its....not so good areas. I really like CH (expensive), Carrboro (also expensive but slightly less than Chapel Hill), and Cary. I’ll probably be looking for somewhere in Cary as it’s less expensive and I’m more comfortable with the area than Durham, though this is just an opinion that I’ve developed from talking to my friends who went to Duke when I went to Carolina.

I actually just spoke with them on the phone a little while ago. They said that emails should have gone out last Friday but there was a glitch in the system so they are sending them out today.
