I wanted to say thank you from the bottom of my heart. I was going in for what was suppose to be just an in & out procedure (tubal ligation). But I guess after I came out of surgery I was in so much pain my OBGYN decided to admit me. He only would prescribe me Ultracet or Tylenol 3. I knew that wouldn't be enough to cover the pain. The Demerol has been helping. My husband goes back to work Thursday night & my mom goes back to work Friday so I knew I needed something stronger.
Anyway, to the point. From the day surgery, OR & floor nurses they have all have been just wonderful. So I want to say thank you to all of you nurses because it is not easy being on the other side. It has definitely been the year of hospital stays. I had my son, then my gallbladder removed, my son was admitted, my tubal & my OBGYN told my husband that I have a fibroid that needs to be removed so that's another surgery.
Thank you again for everything all you nurses do. This is definitely giving me motivation to go back to school. Happy Nurse's Week!

Oh no, feel better soon. Hope all is OK!
I am. I have a low pain tolerance but it takes high dosage of meds to cover the pain. I'm always afraid to look like a drug seeker.
Thank you, I am better today. I was just in tremdous amounts of pain yesterday & I knew Ultracet nor Tylenol 3 would take the pain away. But that's the only thing my OBGYN would prescribe. My husband goes to work tonight & my mom goes to work tomorrow. If I wasn't admitted yesterday I probably wouldn't be feeling as decent as I do. Which is important since I need to take care of my son when I get home.

Thank you! Yeah, this has been the year of surgery for me. My OBGYN told me I have a uterine fibroid & because of where it is not only will I have to get the fibroid removed but my appendix too! Lol!

Feel better, sweetie â¤ï¸. How bout this: get all these surgeries done, then you've filled your quota for at least 10-20 years. At least. I think you're owed that!
That, or you're going to start running out of organs!
Love you Cheerios!!
Love you too!

I'm never in the hospital/have surgery this much! The last surgery I had was a year after my first son was born (ovarian cyst).
I told my husband I should get a room in the hospital & they should remove every organ that I can live without. Lol. I have so many scars on my stomach from the laparoscopic surgeries. I wouldn't be surprised if they find something else in me that needs to be operated on. Cause that's just my luck. Lol.
But I have been so lucky & gotten very sweet & caring nurses. It makes being in the hospital that much easier & motivates me to go back to school.

So sorry you had to go through all that, hoping you are feeling better now. I have also had multiple surgeries and it is not fun to be on the other side. Hope after the fibroid surgery you are done!!
I'm still in a little pain from the tubal but thankfully it's not that much & the Ultracet can cover it. I hope I'm done after I get my appendix & fibroid removed but you never know!
