Hi Readers,
I wanted to address a few things after reading the responses I received from my first article: " I failed out of nursing school... Appealed and WON!! Some were comical, most of them were critical, many were rude, but a few were really sweet and I appreciate the kind words.
Everyone has a right to their opinion, and I understand that I may have offended many of the readers, however again that was not my intention. I apologize and I hope that I straightened out a few issues. ALSO I want to shout out to the HATERS.... THANK YOU!
Sincerely,
JB The "OP" :)
So you're telling me that when 11 out of 30 students fail a class then that is because they ALL magically failed themselves? If you ACTUALLY read what I said, I mentioned that the school did make changes because they had to. There is no way to justify that many students failing a class, without admitting that were discrepancies. And I agree if I failed because I didn't put the effort in then yes, I would have taken full responsibility. I respect your opinion and commend you for standing by beliefs. But you can't ignore the facts and I can't reason with someone who obviously thinks they are superior because they never failed a nursing class. YOU GO GLEN COCO! END OF STORY. THINK WHAT YOU WANT... GO FIND ANOTHER POST TO TERRORIZE.-Thank you,
JB
So, how were the other 19 students able to magically not fail this impossible class?

Are you new to the internet? I'm not terrorizing. I'm responding to a post. If you don't like it, you don't have to come back.
You still failed. TWICE. You shouldn't have been allowed to come back after the first failure. That's how I feel on that subject.
The same thing happened to me. I had a professor leave, mid semester & she handed out reviews for OB/Peds. Well guess what, NOTHING on her review was on the test. But instead of blaming her, I blamed myself. I shouldn't have studied her review. I should've studied the book & what we went over in class. It was MY fault I failed. Yeah a lot of us failed but I still blamed myself! Because I'm a responsible ADULT!
Really?.... My apology is hollow?.... Shaking my head. NOTICE: I will only respond to POSITIVE COMMENTS... so if you have something ridiculous to post... keep moving! HATERS GONNA HATE HATE HATE... AND I'M JUST GONNA SHAKE SHAKE SHAKE SHAKE IT OFF!!! But for real on a real note how much was that last outrageous commenter paid by MAVERICK to retaliate?!GOD BLESS YOUR SOULS!!!
I'm trying to reconcile the fact that the first paragraph and the final line in all caps was from the same person, in the same post.
Bizarre.
To OrganizedChaos,I wouldn't have studied a review handed out from a professor who left mid semester.....But that's just me. For a know it all you should have known better than that!
-Sincerely, JB
Well considering she failed multiple campuses....
But I still passed the class.
I'm not perfect but I do own up to my mistakes & if I would've failed the class I would've owned up to it & not fought it. How old are you?

I thought you were only going to respond to positive posts. You aren't being to kind yourself.
To OrganizeChaos,
Okay I think it's time that we bury the hatchet, you have never failed a nursing class! That is tremendous!! However, I failed a class and for some reason you won't allow me to live that down. It's cool I actually am so much stronger because of it. I own up to the fact that I never gave up on a career that I know I was born to do. I may not have passed every class with flying colors but I won my appeal, I am graduating in a few months and that is that. I will be a great nurse and I'm sure you are too. I hope you have a great rest of the week!
-Best Wishes,
JB
I have had one hell of a nursing school journey and I AM PROUD to say I will be writing RN behind my name in a few months. I worked very hard and I earned it!Regards, JB
When you graduate from nursing school you can write BSN behind your name, but you have to first pass the NCLEX before you can also write RN after your name.
