I was saddened to learn that a friend, EC grad RN, and allnurses member (lifecycle1898) passed away the day before yesterday. Some of you have probably visited his blog, cpnex.blogspot.com -- if you haven't, it has some great CPNE information. Redden was a great guy, and I met him through the EPN while prepping for the CPNE. There was a small group of us that stayed in touch via a Yahoo group, then Facebook. I hope you'll continue to use the resources that Redden compiled to share with everyone, and spare him a thought and a thanks. :)

How sad , I use the info provided from his blog daily in my CPNE studies. R.I.P Redden and thanks for leaving future EC students a invaluable blog as your legacy to help others, lives on. :)

I'm so sorry....I don't know him but it must be not so long ago that he became a RN.
After all of his work to become a nurse, his dream finally came true.
Then he had to leave this world so soon? He should be have lived more to practice and live his dream.

What a shame to have lost him so early in life. A true student advocate.
It saddens me to see this message. Prayers to the family and friends who have lost him
