Hi all!

How is everyone doing? Our semester started later than most so we are having our first test tomorrow. I know many of you have already had your first test, how did you do?

We have a test tomorrow then on tuesday. I think tomorrow will be the 'easier' of the two tests because it is the lab test which is on the anatomical terms and the integumentary system.

At first I thought I'd never be able to memorize all the anatomical terms for the parts of the body. sural? crural? acromial? what?! but I got them down.

Well as far as lecture goes the last test was last Thursday. Our final is on May 3 and it's all multiple choice. I don't like my professors multiethnic choice tests. They are very tricky!! When we asked her how many questions were on the final she just said, "a lot"!!! :( I have my Lab final on tomorrow and I'm so ready for it tone over so that I can focus on lecture. This will probably be the last check in for me - we had our final exam on Monday. A&P is now done for me until this fall when I take A&P II.

The final was 50 questions, multiple choice strictly on the CNS, PNS, brain structure and functions. I expected it to be crazy hard but surprisingly I walked out of there after 35 minutes. I am thankful for a professor that was a pain in the ass to us because it definitely kicked everyone into gear to study the material.

I only have the rest of this week off until summer class starts for me which will be Chem 101. Dreading it because of the math but definitely hopeful. Good luck everyone on their finals!

I will also be taking Chem in the summer, starting at the end of May though. I also have to start my nursing applications.

I took my A&P I exam on Monday, and I did well. Our final lab grades were also posted, and I will be getting an A in lab. Depending on how extra credit points go, I might get an A+ out of lecture, so I'll get at least an A out of the course (lecture + lab) overall. :w00t:

But I can't rest for too long, A&P 2 starts the first week of June. And, from what I hear, it's tougher!

Wow didn't realize how long it's been since I've been on this board. Well my final is next Monday. It was a good semester! I expect an A in A&P I but I feel like an A+ is possible. Our prof gives extra credit and I got over a 100 on the past exams. I am debating taking A&P II in the summer.

One lecture to go on Monday to finish up senses and then the lecture and lab tests on Wednesday and then I have 27 days off until A&P II starts!!!

I can't believe we're at the end! My lab final is Thursday, and my Lecture final will be the following Wednesday. The Lab final covers everything from midterm on, so I've been meeting up with almost half my Lab class in Open Lab the past few days, where we've been studying our butts off on the ear, eye, muscle, and brain models; the sheep's brain; and the cat.

Our Lecture final will be 100 questions: 70 multiple choice and 30 fill in the blank, and it's supposed to cover the entire semester. Am I nervous? You betcha! We've got review this week, so I'm looking forward to that.

Grades-wise, I'm kicking butt in both classes. I would have to bomb, and I mean seriously bomb, both finals to drop my final grades to a B. But, of course, I don't want to bomb. I want those perfect scores!

After that, it's about two weeks of "what am I going to do with myself" and then the madness begins again with A&P II this summer.

To all of us who have already finished the semester, CONGRATS! You made it through! For those of us still facing finals: We can do this! It's been a tough semester, quite the wild ride, but oh-so-rewarding. :w00t:

Ladylynn6 at least your professor is giving you guys a review!!!! Our final is around 80 something questions and will cover the entire semester. I sure wish it were just on the CNS/PNS and senses. It's all cumulative and all multiple choice. Good grief where do I start???!!!!

I know what you mean. We got our review, but what it covered was such a small portion of what we have to go over! The class works on a points system -- 1350-1500 points is an A, and the final is worth 400 points. My final is Wednesday; I'll be going in tomorrow morning and Monday morning to go over review questions with a group.

We had our lab final today. I did great -- got a 99% -- and finished A&P I Lab with an A! I know of at least 2 questions I missed. I could let not knowing which ones I messed up bug me, but I'm going to let it go. A 99% is awesome, I got the A I wanted, now it's time to move on to the Lecture final.

Update from A&P class. I received a B from lecture and Lab! I wish I had made A's but it was tough!!

I took my final today and im going to have an A for the class! I was so nervous when I got a C on my first test but then I gave myself a swift kick in the butt and pulled off an A!

Our final is tomorrow. I know I aced the lab final. The small research paper we had to do is done. And I'm confidant that I will do well on the final.
