Hi,
Anyone taking A&P 2 this summer. Join me here and we can help each other out. I know the faster pace is going to be tough.
I've not spent much time in Georgia, but when I went to Atlanta it was nice :) I'm in Indiana, which is a whole lotta boring. I got a 72% on my midterm today, which is good because I thought I would do worse, and better than what I needed as a minimum to get a B in the class (long story there with calculations), but so disheartening because I had A- on all of my lecture tests first semester
My A&P II class is ONLY 4 WEEKS LONG! Can anyone give me a "heads up" on what to start memorizing? I have my A&PI notes and books, so I'm going to refresh what I know and hopefully start memorizing the different systems. If anyone has already taken A&P II what was the most difficult system to learn? Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks!
N.

I'm glad you did better than you thought! Classes that are formatted like yours are rough. Keep your chin up and I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!
4 weeks long? Wow I am taking it in 8 and thought that was bad. We have Endocrine, Blood, Cardiovascular, Circulatory, and Immune then midterm. Then all the rest for the final.
I'd say start memorizing and working on the endocrine now, Blood was easy. Except for memorizing all the clotting factors. Right now I am at Cardiovascular Which is pretty easy as I am really interested in it and think Telemetry Nursing is where I want to be. I have a test tomorrow on this. Then one to Circ. Test on Wed for that. Then Sat a test on Immune then a whole week until the midterm on the 5th of July. Its pretty hectic and a lot to learn in a short time in 8 weeks.
Good Luck!!
Hey...
I'm taking A&PII this summer as well. My class starts on July 7th and ends on August 21st. I'm really nervous about taking this class in 7 weeks. I also took A&P I in Spring and got an A...I want to get an A in my summer class as well and I'm hoping that it's possible. Is there anything I can do to start preparing? I'm fearful of failing or not being able to handle it.
Lennonninja, I now know exactly what you went through when your class study buddy dropped! Mine just emailed me to tell me that she's dropping both lecture AND lab!!! Yikes! I'm so sad...and freaked out. Now I have to figure this stuff out all by myself. Does anyone else hate the respiratory system with a burning passion?:chuckle

My one IRL friend in my online class dropped out already, so I'm all alone now
I almost had a complete breakdown while doing my labs today because I just feel like I've learned nothing at all. I loved 101 in the classroom, and really felt like I learned so much. Now I feel like I've paid all of this tuition to learn nothing, and to be utterly reduced to tears weekly. My old standard for grades was an A and only an A. Now, if I get a B, I will REJOICE. I actually sat tonight and calculated the scores I need on my two proctored exams when combined with my averages from open book tests and quizzes and discussion groups to get a B, and I feel like I can probably BS my way that far with those tests, but I wish I was learning
