Just because we think we are making the right decisions or think that we're making good choices, it doesn't mean that we actually are. I would pray for a lot of guidance and direction during this time!

I just went through a similar situation on Wednesday during my med-surg rotation. I (along with a classmate) were in my patient's room. We were talking with him and getting to know him. The room was very hot, and I was sitting by the heater. I told my classmate that I felt hot, and moved away from the heater. A couple of minutes later, I started seeing black spots and started feeling super hot and very weak. I tried to walk away from the room, but barely made it 10 ft away from my patient, and had to sit down. Next thing I know my instructor was rushing in with a wheelchair. I WAS SOOO embarrased. somehow I got to the wheelchair, I was still super dizzy and seeing black spots. 3 of my classmates were wonderful (along with my instructor). One got me apple juice and crackers, someone else took my blood pressure (which was 90/60) and someone else got a cold compress to put around my neck and forehead. WIthin minutes, I felt much better. Nontheless I was embarrassed!

Wow! This sounds exactly like what we are going through! I will graduate May 2010 as well. We have been married about 5.5 years and we really want to start our family. We decided to start trying in Oct./ Nov. 2009. We are excited about that. You are right! There's always something going on.

Hey... I'm taking A&PII this summer as well. My class starts on July 7th and ends on August 21st. I'm really nervous about taking this class in 7 weeks. I also took A&P I in Spring and got an A...I want to get an A in my summer class as well and I'm hoping that it's possible. Is there anything I can do to start preparing? I'm fearful of failing or not being able to handle it.

I'll be starting this fall at an ADN program, at 26 years old...the plan is to graduate May 2010 at 28 years old...God willing!

Hi, I'll be taking AP II second summer session from July 7th to Aug. 21st (7 week course). I'm definitely nervous about it. I'm trying to figure out my study plan. How about you?

I just got an acceptance letter this week... There were about 500-600 applications and 110 seats available for the year.

I'm sooooo excited! yesterday I found out that I go in to Nursing School for Fall '08. I don't think that it's really hit me...I may still be in shock! I have orientation on June 16th, where I'll register for nursing classes, get my books and uniform. How exciting!!!!! I'm sure there are others out there feeling what I'm feeling. I'll be taking 2 summer classes to lighten my load while I'm in nursing school. This summer I'm taking Lifespan Psychology and A&PII. YEAHHHHH!!!:chuckle

Hello, I applied to MCC and I'm waiting to hear back from them. I received a letter on 4/15 stating that they were extending the notification date from 4/15 to 4/30...agghh:bugeyes:! Is anyone else waiting on MCC? I'd love to know... Thanks!
