ROTFL!! That's awesome!!!!
I knew you would laugh, I just knew it!!!:rotfl: Well I am in a happy mood because I think I did pretty good on my second lab test. But I tell you the adventure never ends with our professor.....here I am taking the test, eyeballs bulging, bloodpressure stretching my capillaries passed the point of recoil, and this guy asks me where I got my T-shirt!!!!????? IT has a beagle on it and he started again (we hear about this all the time) about his wife's Welsh Corgi. I feel like screaming at him HHHEEEELLLLOOOO Dr.G, this is not the time to socialize!!!!????? And then there is more......
ca.20 minutes later......
I am still slaving over the test, palms sweaty, red in the face fuming over his obscure questions.......Doesn't he get this guy from the hallway, brings him in to our classroom and introduces this person to me...."This is Ms Verdi, she is also German blah blah blah etc, and the guy starts talking German to me......here I am clenching my teeth as hard as I can ( dangerous cause' people my age might break something) but I managed to lput on a fake smile and I just was a sweet as can be talking German to the guy!!!!! Guten Tag, wie gehts woher sind sie, blah blah blah auf Wiedersehen!.....oh my gosh, I don't know what to say, nothing surprises me anymore in my class!
Here is another one with his Wesh Corgi....on our first labtest he made us beautiful model of molecules, one looked like his dog, the corgi, it was ethanol and I got it right and he got all excited about me getting it right. And I told him "looks like your dog, doesnl't it????"
Is this CRAZY or what!
I guess I'll make a good psych nurse????
He does sound a TAD psycho!! Too bad but sounds like you're coming through with shining colours! I agree that the task may be if you can get through this course and deal with the senility you find in it, you can match up to anything!!:rotfl: Well I am in a happy mood because I think I did pretty good on my second lab test. Well, I'm off to give my brain somewhat of a break and drench it in some good ol' reality junk t.v.!!! Have a good evening! AWESOME on the lab test!

You know I believe that everything happens for a reason....there is a reason why I am in this class....maybe it's a test on how far I have evolved to affectively deal with difficult people ( I grew up in a crazy environment and it hurt me for alot of years). I see that I am much tougher these days and I am able to better separate myself from others' madness.
Enjoy your escape into the TV world....get some good rest, hug your children!
TAlk to you soon.:)
I am tolerably sure it was .. and they were talking about having a big A&P study party (personally that sounds like a nightmare to me, but that's just me and my own way to study) and stuff.
Study parties are so unproductive. A&P it's nice to have someone quiz you, but more that 2 people turns bad. Last study party I had was for psychology, we got in a little bit of study before the conversation turned to disgusting sexual fetishes and sex toy parties. I have no clue how we got there, but we did.
In conclusion: Study parties are good in theory, bad in practice.
Ok, lol, now how do we get people to post in here instead of the other thread? Or since I accidentally made my bed, I suppose I have to lie in it!?!?!!! LOL, likely! Oh well, guess I can handle it. OR should we all jump over to the other thread. hahaha sorry.
So what is everyone up to? I am feeling sort of scared about the exam on Wednesday but I have found it almost impossible to shut out people's negative comments and constant talk like "No one passes on the first time through with this professor; he's got REALLY hard test," etc. etc. ARGHHH STOP THE VOICES!! :sofahider

Read your stuff and tell yourself that you will do ok. ( Hug your mini man) Hug your kids, husband and pets and pray and remember your friends on this board who are in the same boat. I am preparing for my next lecture test with "Psycho" which is in two weeks. I sat and read book and notes while husband went out with our son on a nice scouting event ( I sacrificed going to see the Alamo here in San Antonio and spending time with my family) They just called and do a grocery store stop ( I am so lucky to have my husband's support) I told my family "thank you" because the few hours were very productive and I feel in control and on top of the material. I am scared, too.....our test will be over tissues ( nervous tissue in depth !!!!!!),skin, bone formation, skeletons and joints. The first lecture test gave me almost a heart attack because his questions were very hard to answer. I am already worried what other stuff he will ask...what has he forgotten to mention in lecture and what other chapters from A&P 2 will he ask questions of....he did this in his first test, and again on the lab test. Look at the bright side, we are almost half way there......I will try to hold on to my B ( sadly the only and highest grade in the class so far) with all my might! I have given up the illlusion of an A and I will settle for a B in this course. Half of the students didn't show up for the lab test Tues. We will get the results of our lab test this coming Tues and more people will probably decide not to attempt the lecture test. I am afraid that come November 11 (last day to withdraw with W) only a handfull will remain to stick it out to the final. I was in a class where only 5 people remained....BioChem last semester. I made the only B and there were no A's. It looks like the same here in this class. I hate every minute of this and I will shop for a better instructor for A*P 2.
Hang in there, try to relax and have a nice weekend.

I agree, sadly study parties can turn out to be a waste of time. but I don't give up on trying. To my surprise I had a good experience before my lab test last week even though people showed up later than planned. If you have good partners it can be great!
Yikes! HUGS! Well, I think one thing is that almost every course of A&P is different from another .. depending on how they test us and present the material (so what I mean is, don't worry about the A's you hear about, etc.). Hang in there and trust yourself!! You can do this!! I think it's great that you have a solid B!!I hate every minute of this and I will shop for a better instructor for A*P 2.Hang in there, try to relax and have a nice weekend.
I will hug Frodo but he likely won't have the guts to tell me it will be ok. :stone
Talk soon!

Forgot to mention, get earpllugs and stay clear of those people, don't hang around them. Get to your class just on time, and leave immediately afterwards . When you sit down get your earplugs in and your book out. :)
