So, I'm in! I've got this and College algebra and I'm DONE with all my pre-reqs and related courses. I dropped this this past Spring, so I know how hard it is. Hopefully I'll have a better instructor this time that actually knows how to teach the class.
I'm taking Pre-A&P... my college decided that "Basic A&P" should be a requirement, so I am taking 3 A&P classes over all *eek* But I think with Basic I can 'ease' into it all! (Although from reading around this board it sounds like I will touch many of the same things you all have been touching!)
Hello! I am hoping to get accepted into a nursing program in the spring semester. I took Chemistry last semester, so now it is A & P I for me. I am in a hybrid course that only meets once a week, for three hours. First part of the class is question and answer, second is quiz and third is lab. We had our first quiz on Tuesday, and I got 19/20. It is pretty cool, you can take the quiz, do the lab, and take the quiz again, you get two shots. Our first lab was measurements, and our second was osmosis. We are using A & P Marieb as the book. Looking forward to chatting with you all this semester!
Forgot to say that the lectures are all on line.
wow, nicely said. i'm using sample text book as you. But I have a question are the level of organisation related that is are they ordered as listed in pg 7 of the book from lowest to complex.

Ok thanks I did get a intro to chemistry for biology students book from the book store and it helps a lot i understand the octet rule and I know that electrons equal the same number of protons but my instructor kind of confused me saying that it would be 6 valance shells
