Jenna, I am taking A&P through Colorado Community Colleges online, and I know a few other members here use them as well...

Stuck on the Chemistry!!! I am on Chapter 2 (Chemistry) and I am stuck there!! For some reason my brain just isn't computing all of this! *LOL* Also, Anyone have a good link for Labeling Exercises?

for some reason today as i sat at work bored out of my mind i started worrying about the nursing school entrance exam! (odd as it may sound i'm more worried about this than the nclex, although both are still a ways off!) i have another year worth of pre-req's to complete before i can even think about the entrance exam... but it's scaring me! what if i don't retain the information that i'm learning in a&p 1 or pharm?? :uhoh21: i suppose i'm just curious as to what kind of stuff is on this exam?

Anyone know of a good way to memorize/learn the 6 structural Levels?? (Chemical, Cell, Tissue, Organ, Organ System & Organism) Maybe it's just wishful thinking that there could be some cute way to memorise this!

I'm taking Pre-A&P... my college decided that "Basic A&P" should be a requirement, so I am taking 3 A&P classes over all *eek* But I think with Basic I can 'ease' into it all! (Although from reading around this board it sounds like I will touch many of the same things you all have been touching!)

I haven't had a chance to read this whole thread yet, but I just started A & P Yesterdy and am anxious to get going!!

My big problem with CCC online is still having to go in for labs! (At least thats how it was described to me!?!?)

I am currently taking classes at the school this semester, but next semester my hubby will be gone ALL semester for work related training and I can go with him, but need to stay in school also! Is there anyway to take some of the pre-req's online?? (Anyone know of a reputable way to do this?)

Not required here, but I am going through CNA classes currently so I can work pt as a CNA throughout nursing school

At my school you have to get your LPN before you can be admitted to the RN program (Odd, I know!) So I will be getting my LPN, but I may move before I get my RN and then just go for my LPN to RN in another state, at least that way I can get into the program pretty quick!

Thank you everyone for your thoughts!! My labs will be at the school, so I'm not very worried about that, and I think that I'll be able to ask questions come lab time! Tests will be in the school testing lab (a ginormic computer lab on campus) As for dedication, I definately have it!

Has anyone taken these classes online? I will be taking both online (although going into the school for labs) My main reasoning for this is that both classes were full when I went to sign up... Are they too hard to take online and should I wait? Or can it be done?

I'm starting my pre-req's for my ADN at Pueblo Community College in Southern Colorado...

landshark, those are the same prices I found around here, so I'm just taking it at my community college where my financial aide money can pay for it... *sigh* it seems nothing is ever easy
