Would't it make sense for the ANA to require all nurses have the same license first,then have all nurses get a Bsn??

I do not understand the ANA's position.

Like it or not,Lpn's are NURSES.(for the few that cannot understand that)

Why does not the ANA even acknowledge them?

I am ready to get cursed out btw.

The ANA is not a government agency and has no say in the education or licensing requirements of nurses. It's a political group/professional organization for registered nurses. Your statements are non-sensical and seem only intended to cause division and debate. Neither your intent nor your logic is clear.

The ANA can't require anything. They have no jurisdiction to make requirements about nursing education in your state.

If you don't understand the ANA's position, read their position statement.

As others have said, the ANA is a group for RNs, thus the reason they don't mention LPNs. The Boy Scouts probably don't mention the Girl Scouts in any of their charter/rules, but that doesn't mean the girls aren't scouts just the same.

Before requiring all Rn's have a Bsn,would not it make more sense for every nurse to be on the same level license -wise first?
