Hey Kimberly!

Are you taking chem at Wayne or at a CC? I've heard great things about the prof that's doing it this fall. And are you doing bio 1510 at Wayne too? If so you'll have to tell me which prof you signed up for since there are two. I've only heard things about one of them--I think the other is a new hire.

I lurk everywhere on these boards....

Hopefully you'll find a great group here that's doing prereqs and keep me posted on how your classes go this fall. I registered for my first semester nursing classes today and I have orientation on Wednesday--I'm getting excited! Good luck in your classes:loveya:

In the Fall I will be taking the following:

A&P 2- 3 credits

History- 3 credits

Biochemistry- 3 credits

Foods & Nutrition- 3 credits

In the Spring I'll take the following:

Microbiology- 4 credits

English Comp 2- 3 credits

Intro to Sociology- 3 credits

Arts & Humanities 1- 3 credits

Specializes in ICU/UM.

I'm taking A&P I and Intro to Interpersonal Comm. I took speech in the past but only got a C (my last speech was too long and ruined a nice B:imbar ) so the last one will replace that because it's the preferred class. Then it's time to apply!

Hi all!

This fall I'm transferring to the University of Detroit Mercy and this will be my class lineup:

Bio. 254 Human Anatomy

Bio. 257 Human Anatomy Lab

Chem. 102 Organic & Bio. Chemistry

Soc. 100 Intro to Sociology

CIS 100 Intro to Computers (required by school - easy time waster  )

I'm pretty scared of the Human Anatomy (hence the the thread I made on how to get a head-start on studying for the class). I'm also really scared of the Organic/Bio. Chem. class. Can anyone give me an idea of how hard it'll be - I've heard scary stories and I'm really worried! :uhoh21:

Good luck everyone! We can do it! :yeah:

Fall 2008:

Anatomy and Physiology I w/Lab (4 credits)

World Civilizations I (3 credits)

Freshman Year Seminar (1 credit)

Introduction to Psychology (3 credits)

College Algebra with Review (5 credits)

Plus I received credit for English Comp I because I had a 32 on my ACT in English. :D

Spring 2009: I'm stuck with all my tough subjects in one semester

Anatomy and Physiology II w/lab (4 credits)

Chemistry 101 w/lab (4 credits)

English Comp II (3 credits)

Developmental Psychology (3 credits)

Elementary Statistics (3 credits)

I'm taking Statistics in the Fall. I don't "need" it for my local cc program (need a higher level math, but could be something called "foundations of math", Stats still counts though..) I know Stats will be harder, but I'm hoping it'll transfer in to a BSN program down the road.

Once I'm done w/ Math class this summer, I'm applying for Fall 2009 clinicals! :yeah:

I have to retake A&P since it has been more than 5 yrs since I had it.

Can't be THAT bad second time around, right?

I am also picking up a Nutrition class that is required by most colleges here.

Non-prereq related, but I am also getting mt EMT-B.

Intro to Chemistry with lab

Developmental Psychology

English 102

Art of Theater

Meaning of Philosophy

Should be a crazy busy semester.
