Hey everyone I just got my schedule figured out for Fall 2008. I am switching to a new school and so they have different pre-reqs that I need to finish. However, I will be able to apply for Fall 2009 admission. My school also requires us to complete lower division nursing classes before we can apply.

Here is my schedule:

Chem 102 - Fundamental Chemistry II

Stat 110 - Intro to Descriptive Statistics

Nurs 212 - Evolution of Nursing Science

Nurs 226 - Socio-Cultural Variations in Health and Illness

Nurs 231 - Foundations of Community Health Nursing

I just figured out my plan of what I'm taking and when.

Fall '08-

ENGL 1301

KINE 1111-Fitness for Life (PE Credit)

MUSI 1301- Music Fund. (Humanities credit)

SPCH 1318- Interpersonal Comm.

Spring '08-

BIOL 2401- A&P I

SOCI 1301- Intro to Soci

PSYC 2301- Intro to Psyc

and/or

MATH 1314- College Algebra (not req for ADN, but is for BSN)

I was hoping to take PSYC 2301 in the fall, but the ones that worked with my schedule were all full.:( So, I guess this fall is going to be my "easy" semester, but since it's the closest to full time that I'll have been since '99, it's kind of a tester semester. I work and have a house, husband, and family to take care of, so I'm hoping that I can handle it easily, and then go ahead and take the full load in the spring. If that's the case, then I can take a full load in the summer, which leaves me with just one ADN pre-req, and I can go ahead and apply for the Spring '10 nursing program. I'll go ahead and take that last pre-req and a couple of BSN pre-reqs in fall '09. Like someone else said, the reality of it is hitting me like a ton of bricks right now and nervousness is setting in.

I'm a 3rd degree student so most of my pre-reqs are fulfilled. This summer I took biology. This fall I'm taking A&P 1 and a computer class. I might take a math class since it's been a long time and then everything will be fulfilled.
