Paying for Childcare while in school

I am wanting to go back to school but I don't know how I will manage to pay for childcare for my twins. Does anyone know if there are any types of assistance or loans you can apply for to pay for childcare during school?

My tuition and books for full time enrollment at a community college is slightly less than $2000 per term. My student loan is for over $5000 per term, leaving $3000 to use as I wish. Considering a term is only a few months, so that would cover most childcare costs.

(I have four children, two of which are in daycare. They are under 3 years of age and their daycare costs right around $1000 per month.)

I would look on your state's website. I know here in Tennessee they offer assistance to parent's who work with a spouse who goes to school, but don't make over a certain amount. I'm not sure exactly how it works, but I know our state's website has info on it. Check into it though, I could help.

My school offers child care within the school, but maybe a local babysitter? I found craigslist to be good at locating those babysitters.

Thanks for the information. I'll check into my state's website on financial aid. Luckily the school I'm about to attend has a childcare. But there is a waiting list. Thanks again!

Yep, student loans. We use a trusted friend, who has watched other people's kids that we know. She is very patient and kind and she's way cheaper than a daycare center.
