My online advisor just called me and told me the college I am attending online no longer offers the chemisty class online:angryfire. Does anyone know of any other good online chemistry classes!
Chemistry is my last prereq this is really messing me up
help me please someone!!!

I have taken all my science pre reqs via SUNY Learning Network (just google that and you'll find lots of courses)!

hi, i saw your post on allnurses about the chem151-152 with dr. klepper at iowacconline. do you mind sharing how this course was for you? i know it was a while ago that you took it, but i am actually trying to repeat my chemistry classes to apply for grad school for nursing. (i took chem classes years ago, and only got c's in them.) also, if they will let me i'm going to try to take 151 (inorganic) and 152 (organic) at the same time this summer, so that i can finish them in time for the application to grad school in october. are the classes extrememely difficult to the point that they shouldn't be taken simultaneously?

Does Educan offer the Lab portion online? And also, does the SUNY? How much is the SUNY tuition?

Try either Introductory Chemistry CHEM 180 or General Chemistry I CHEM 181 at Ocean County College in Toms River NJ. Both just received Quality Matters desgnation which is a "Good Housekeeping Seal of Approval" for online courses.

It is totally online and taught by a professor who is also a nurse. My girlfriend is in the course now and she loves the professor because she keeps relating chemistry to nursing in things like doseage calculations and buffers for IVs etc.

OCC has become a real powerhouse for delivering science courses realated to nursing online such as A&P I and II. I am taking their Microbiology online course this semester and really love it. Check out the professors at "rate my professor dot com" I have always found that helpful.
