I know most people take Anatomy in the Fall, but since I registered late last Fall, I couldn't get in. However, I'm enrolled and ready to go this Winter! Anyone else? :coollook:

I'm taking A & P I now, and will take 2nd semester this summer. It's a lot of studying but fascinating so I don't seem to mind.:chuckle I start the RN program in January. My advisors said if at all possible I should try to just take nursing courses the 1st semester of program, since the amount of effort and time management is at a peak for us newbies. Good luck to you.

I'll be taking A&P I this Spring Semester. My first science course in 6 years.

This spring will be my first semester!!! I can't wait!! Good luck to all let's ACE it!!!!!!!

I'll be taking A and P in the spring...starting January 18th.

I've taken it before, but didn't do very well. Even if I had, it's been 12 years. I'm hoping maturity has set in now!! :chuckle

Soooooooooooo, here I ago again...but luckily not on my own lol

Let's stick together here throughout the semester. Maybe we can help each other out.

I'm currently taking A & P I and will be taking A & P II and Statistics for the Winter Term, so for I have a A average "WHOO". I have been out of school since 1991 with a B.A. When I passed my first exam it was scary, because I passed with 106 points. So good luck to all who will be taking A & P I and II.

I'm taking anatomy this spring too. I'm excited! I had to take micro this fall as my first science class because it was the only class that was offered while my son is in school. It is kicking my ***. The A students are the ones that are taking micro as their last science class. They tell me that their knowledge of chem and A&P helps them a lot, but that micro is by far the hardest class they have taken. This one A student told me that all the other sciences were just memorizing stuff but that with micro you need to understand it. I think she knows what she is talking about because she has taken all the prerequisites to get her BS which includes patho and pharm. Micro was the only class she had left.

At my school we have A&P 1&2 but A&P 1 is anatomy and A&P 2 is physiology. A girl I sit next to in micro told me anatomy is the easiest of the sciences. She said that it is time consuming because of the memorization but you don't have a lot of concepts to understand.

I am taking AP2 this spring.

First of all, I'm thrilled to know that there will be several of us who are tackling this course next semester! :D

Ganeese, I've heard the same things with regards to Anatomy, Physiology and Micro. I'm taking Physiology in the Spring, and Micro next Fall. :D

Specializes in L & D.

I begin A & P I in January, along with Developmental Psych. I'm planning on taking A & P II and Microbiology over the summer. I want to get all these classes out of the way before I start my nursing classes next fall.

I graduated from college in 1989 - yes, I know I'm old! - with a BS in civil engineering. I'm so excited to be going back to school!! I wanted to buy my books early to start reading, but the bookstore said you shouldn't buy books until just before classes begin because the professors can still decide to use a different book. Oh well.......

Best of luck to you! :)

I'm taking A/P 3 and Microbiology Winter term...the last classes I need before I apply to the nursing program.

I do think taking some A/P (and chem) before micro is very helpful, as you understand many of the body systems and how they will be effected by pathogens and microorganisms.

Good luck
