Accepted!!!

Nursing Students Pre-Nursing

Published

So after a long 3 years and 3 summers in the making, I finally got the call on the 7th that I was accepted into nursing school!!! It was the best feeling in the world almost like a huge weight lifted off of my shoulders. When I look back, every hour spent studying and all the countless nights preparing for exams in different classes, it was all worth it. Can't believe the first hardest part of getting into nursing school is over. All I gotta is it feels great!!! To any of you aspiring to be nurses, it's definitely a great feeling once you get up to this point, but always remember that there will be struggles along the way. I believe though anyone can get in as long as they put the effort, determination, and willingness to be "hungry" to get accepted. If there is one thing I did learn is not to stress yourself out too much. Take breaks here and there, but still balance your extracurricular activities and schoolwork. If per say you're struggling with information in chemistry, go to your professor's office hour to get a better explanation. Anyways, just wanted to throw my two cents in there. Good luck to everyone this semester along with those waiting for their calls, emails, or acceptance letters!!!

If you guys have any further questions, feel free to PM or post up here.

Congrats on your acceptance! I cannot wait to experience that feeling!! I just applied for spring & find out in October, so I'll be anxiously awaiting a good letter! Hopefully! Good luck to you! ?

Yay! Congrats to you  I bet you feel relieved & anxious all at the same time. Can't wait to be in your shoes. Hopefully sometime next year :whistling: Lol.

Congratulations on your acceptance! Woo hoo!!!! Happy dance :D  :)

Isn't it the greatest feeling to know you're done with pre-reqs and you're finally in nursing school?

Congrats! I know the feeling of waiting for it. For all the hard work. Right now I'm waiting to find out if I can even apply. I took a class at the current college I'm at now in 09 and failed it because of reasons that weren't my fault. Then I moved to Indiana and started my college career. Got my Cna and such. Did all my prerecs for nursing. Now I transfer back to first college and everything transferred over, I go to apply for the RN program and then they say oh! No you can't because this f. Technically my GPA is 0 because the f. So I just had to put in an appeal for the GPA requirement for the nursing. Just incase they don't accept I'm about to retake that stupid class and take another class to bump my GPA up. Hopefully they accept and I can still apply by the sept deadline to start in January. If not then I'm set to apply for next year fall. Ugh. It's just I was so CLOSE!! I really hope they appeal it. I want to start my nursing classes in jan!! Sorry for rant.

Congratulations! I can't wait to be in your shoes and starting nursing school! :D

Congratulations! I know how great you felt. By efforts, it was all worth it!

I'm going to be a prenursing student. Now, just very confused how I would do it.

Thank you all! It's definitely a great feeling. Good luck to you all this year!

Congrats, so which classes were the hardest?? I am in the military and I get out the military next year in April and then I am going to take the TEAS Test. How was the TEAS? How did you prepare yourself. I have a difficult time on the science portion, so how can I prepare myself for that. Sorry if I am asking so many questions.

Congrats on your acceptance. I applied for the spring of 14 and I'm waiting for the good email that I got accepted :D lol. I hope I get in though because those science pre reqs weren't that easy.

Congrats to you. I cannot wait to be doing the happy dance when I (hopefully) find out I too, have been accepted.

This wait is killing me!!! Did you prepare before starting nursing school? Meaning, did you or are you reading ahead any related nursing books?!
