Tell me about it! I wish you luck on your two tests! I guess you have more pressure than me!!! But if we look on the bright side, at least we made it to the end of the road and did not give up on the class. Good Luck~:) :) :)

Ladies,

I am an Optician, you know eyeglasses and stuff, I did good on the eye stuff. I was just kinda tired of it. So, I thought I would take on this enormous task of Nursing school. I just saw a post that said the starting pay for Nurses is 18-20 an hour. I can make that now in the Optical field. I am 44, is it really worth all this stress? Help!!!! Plus the two teenage boys I have!

Jules it really all depends on where you live and what shift you work. I know in my area the starting pay for new grads is roughly $25 an hour before any differentials. You get more for weekends, more for nights, etc etc. As to if it's worth it...it's worth it to me but everyone is different...if you aren't feeling it anymore and you can make the same as an optician..then maybe thats what you should do. However, if you're up to the challenge and really really want to be a nurse...stick to your guns!

OH THANK GOODNESS LAB IS OVER!!! YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The test was the hardest yet but I am pretty sure I got only 5 wrong and I had 8 extra credit " questions" going in...so that would still be over 100%.

Come on next Thursday!

It doesn't feel like I'm done, but finished my last test this morning. Don't know how I did with the lecture test, becuase I've learned not to guess.

I do know I got a 100% on the last lab test and got my A.

Hmm. Should have asked this morning if he's going to post the test scores on his door, to put me out of my misery.

Good luck on A&P II everyone. Since we survived the first one, I'm sure we can get through the second part.

Had my last final today. I survived my little crisis!

I have seen others post a similiar message and really never thought I would feel the way I did on Monday but.... I have recovered. I look forward to posting A&P II messages in the Fall. I am going to taking genereal Ed this summer. English and Human Growth.

OMG!!!!! My professor just posted our grades on Blackboard and I got an.....

A-!!!!!!!!! 90%

I just cannot believe it!!!! 70 people failed the course :o ... But anyway, back to the great news!!!! I barely made it, I had an 89% average overall, but I got a 92% on my last lecture and a 50/50 on my last Lab to give me that one little measly point that makes a difference between an A and a B. I am so happy :balloons: :Melody: :Melody: :Melody: :) :) :) :) :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
