Ok, no one has started this yet, so I guess I will. I start A&P I on January 18th, lab and lecture.

Here are a few good websites I have found...some are basic, some may be more indepth than your instructor asks for.....BUT it gives you a little more to look over before class starts next month! :) ....Never forget the website for your actual book too!!!!!!

GOOD LUCK TO ALL OF YOU

AMEN Fun2Care!

Well here I am at 2 am Wed morning....my endocrine/skeletal exam is in about 30 hours... I feel OK. The skeletal part is really tiny- basically how bones grow+how they repair from fractures. That dang endocrine system though- ugh. I am feeling more confident today though then I did the other day.

As for my upcoming lab which is skeletal/muscle...I know ALL the bones+bone markings and I know where each muscle is. I just really need to cement each muscles

function" as well as insertion/origin/nerve supply for the 8 we need to know that for....but for the time being...since this test is NEXT week... I am concentrating on the lecture exam.

I got a HUGE morale boost from my professor today- she asked me if I would be willing to work as the A+P 1 "tutor" in the fall. I told her I didn't know...considering I have Micro+ I think I will take Nutrition for Health Majors on my plate...but she said and I quote verbatim " You are one of the best students I have ever witnessed helping others and I feel this quality is needed for my recommendations for tutors and so I ask you to please think about this ( I know that sounds broken english- but she speaks broken english) ". Made me smile:).

Come on May 19th!

( I totally have plans for May 19th night to go out and drink... and I barely ever drink...so I feel I will be uh....blitzed HAHA!)

That's great, BoonersMom. Even if you don't take the tutor position, it's nice to know you've been asked to. :)

As for going out....we made our plans for this Friday night! lol

How much time of yours does it take to be a tutor a day, a week, a month?

I would seriously consider to take the position.

Congrats BoonersMom.

Katie

The A+P tutoring center is open Tues/Thurs from 5-9. So it would be 2X a week for whatever time I put into it. I'm still thinking about it...I just have to consider that's more time away from my kids, etc etc

Thanks:)

Hi JessicaGmz. Most of us will be moving on to A&P II during the summer or Fall.

Be sure to utilize the links provided throughout our discussions, and know that all of the quizzes I made will stay online (www.nursingjourney.com). Feel free to use them, and good luck! :)

BoonersMom & Nursestudent:

Congrats!! :)

I took my last lab today, and I think I did ok. I stayed up too late last night reading Developmental Pyschology, so I have a headache, but I don't think it blurred my thinking too much.

Dev Pysch test tomorrow, A&P lecture test by Tuesday then I'm finished for a week. lol :smokin:

This week I have a lecture and lab exam over the whole nervous system then the week after that the "final". That is only lecture test but covers the first 600 pages from the book! :uhoh3:

I will have no life in the next two weeks.
