I just got back from lecture- I got a 98% on my ANS/PNS/Special Senses test...and she's allowing 2pts extra credit- so I will have a full 100%!

LKG6: We are disecting a sheep's brain Thursday. Then we have one review day (next tuesday, then the last lab test on the 5th ...thursday)

I just hope I know more than I think I do. I was ready for the other two lab practicals. This one is giving me a headache. :uhoh21:

Fun, you are not the only one. I spent at least 2 hours in lab last week or so looking at the brain, watching the video but I still don't feel comfortable about it, and the test is next Monday :uhoh21:

I am done with psychology, had my final today.

My anatomy final is tomorrow and I am losing it. :rolleyes:

I think I am going to reread Nervous and Autonomic System chapters and take the night off. At this point, there is not much I can absorb. lol

Ladies,

I am officially tired of studying. I had my lab final monday. I think that went well. Now I am attempting ANS and somewhat confused. We still have senses to go. I have the eye down pat, I was an Optician in my previous life. Now if I can get the hearing one down and do well on the final on May 10th I will be so happy. I hope everyone is staying strong!!!

I took my 3rd Dev Psych test yesterday, and made an 82 on it. I have to make at least a 76 on the last test next week to make an A for the course, or at least a 27 to make a B.

As for A&P I, I feel a little better about the knowing the brain/spinal cord stuff for the last lab, not sure sure about the lecture yet. Lab is on the 5th, so I have a few more days to study, and hopefully, whenever I decide to take the lecture test (btw the 5th and the 10th), I'll have that down a little more.

I re-read both chapters and plan on reading a bit more on ANS and I promise, lol, in bed by 11. :)

Yes I am still alive....I think I finish later than all of you!

Next Thurs is my last lecture exam on Endocrine/Skeletal...the following Tuesday is my lab final...and the following Tues after that is my lecture final.

So, I am in a book...somewhere...ha ha

Sigh, I so hoped to post good news. But got a 33/40 for my last lecture test on the spine and brain. Though I believe with a good grade on the final, and the extra credit, I can pull my grade back to an A.

For good news, I'm doing very well in Lab. Even got a 100% on the lastest test on muscles. Just have to do well on next tuesdays test on the brain, ear, eyes, etc. and I'll have my A easily.

What I've been wondering is how many of you get to do dissections on regular basis in class. I was sort of dissapointed that the only dissection we did was a sheep brain and cow eyeball last week. And I really don't like the models we use. For instance on the models, you really couldn't tell where muscles attached.

Back to studying. And good luck to everyone as we finish this up.

We are studying the nervous system in class, so I could understand a lot from the show.

I am totally, totally depressed about the final I had yesterday. :uhoh3: We had 150 questions and I felt like I was guessing every second question. I feel like a complete idiot and am thinking of not showing up for my lab final on Monday. I am embarassed and can't even think of looking at my professor since I am sure I got 50% or less on it. I am so disappointed in myself and have spent the last 2 days crying. I can't believe I let myself down this bad.

I might change my major after all
