For prospective applicants for the 2017 year in the program. Being as I am currently wait listed in the 2016 year due to a very late application, there is a high probability I would have to apply again come November 1st 2016 for the following year acceptance.

November 1st, 2016 is the priority application deadline for the 2017 year. All materials (GRE, official transcripts, application payment, letters of recommendation, statement of intent) must have been submitted by this date.

Letters of acceptance for August 2016 orientation and start were sent out the first week of February 2016. Wait listed recipients received their wait list offer in an around the first week of March 2016 with the caveat that seats may open well into late July.

I received an email today for an interview for the pre-specialty pediatric primary care program! I'm honestly so surprised I made it to the interview but so excited!! Any advice??

I received an email today!! Hope you did as well :)

Hi! Has anyone applied to or heard anything back from the primary care pediatric program? I am seeing how people applied to the others, but none for the peds program!

I received an email today!! Hope you did too :)

Has anyone applying to PMHNP heard anything ?

I haven't heard anything @Naikan. :(

I just received an invitation via email to interview on 1/6/2017. I applied for PreSpecialty PMHNP!

Congratulations! That's wonderful. :) I haven't heard anything. I'm assuming that's the equivalent of a very thin envelope....aaaand I just opened my online application to see if there was anything posted there only to find that one of my recommenders hasn't submitted their reference. Wow. So many feels right now.

Thank you. I'm not sure if today is when interview invitations began, but it seems that they started being sent out at the beginning of Dec. for last year's round. Others received their invitation as late as the end of the month. So I'm not sure if I'm early, on time, or part of the late group for invitations. Regardless, it's still possible to get an invite!

I don't know if this helps but I had a letter of rec mailed in. It was received after the deadline and when I contacted the office I was told that it was added to my packet but will not reflect on the online application...so hoping that is the situation with your letter.

wishing there was some sort of update :arghh:

I just got a invite today for the PMHNP! Does anyone know what they ask in the interviews?

I also received an email for a phone interview for the PMHNP program. My interview is 1/11. I am hoping to hear some feedback on what to expect as well @seattle3573

I just had my interview this morning. It was extremely casual and was just under 20 minutes. She talked mostly about the structure of the program and only asked me two questions, why Vanderbilt and one random question about my resume. I applied for the prespecialty pediatric primary care program. I actually did my interview early since I'll be traveling out of the country during this program's interviews.
