For prospective applicants for the 2017 year in the program. Being as I am currently wait listed in the 2016 year due to a very late application, there is a high probability I would have to apply again come November 1st 2016 for the following year acceptance.

November 1st, 2016 is the priority application deadline for the 2017 year. All materials (GRE, official transcripts, application payment, letters of recommendation, statement of intent) must have been submitted by this date.

Letters of acceptance for August 2016 orientation and start were sent out the first week of February 2016. Wait listed recipients received their wait list offer in an around the first week of March 2016 with the caveat that seats may open well into late July.

I hope this is a helpful rather than a discouraging insight that I offer to all of you wearing rosy spectacles, but Vanderbilt's PMHNP program has a scalpel-sharp reputation for arrogance which I discovered is well- deserved.

While I applied for the AG-ACNP program, I noticed this just through simple email communication with admissions. It was almost if it was an inconvenience to respond to my email. It was kind of a turn off for me seeing as I had much better rapport with higher ranking schools but it wasn't enough for me to not apply.

Interesting. I ended up liking another school better, where my 15 years of nursing experience and my high GRE scores were greeted with huge enthusiasm rather than a disdain and suspicion about my age difference. I am at the top of my class in semester one at another university. Go where it feels warm and trust your first impressions.

I definitely agree.

Does anyone know anything about the timeline?

I hate this wait! I wish I could just press the "submit" button and know my admissions decision lol

The full-time AGACNP program is 1 year. Fall, spring, summer. Do you live in Nashville? Congrats! I was just accepted to this program as well!!

I am applying to the program 2018; do you know what they care for the most? Like GPA; GRE or ? do you guys have interviews?

Do you mind telling me how this went for you? We're you accepted?
