  1. @JDLFNP, I'm in the exact same boat Let me know what you decide because I'm completely torn. I like that I wouldn't have to have my own car in Boston because I think I'll be able to rely on the T and zipcar when I need to. It also seems like everyone from BC's program always speak to highly of how supportive the faculty and cohort are. Not that I haven't heard positive things about Vanderbilt as well, but I get the impression that BC is more tight-knit and supportive. What do you think?
  2. Does anyone else still need to take pathophysiology? Or does anyone know a more affordable place to take it? It's $700 at Butler (
  3. @sam the deadline is March 10th
  4. I got my decision just now as well and I've been accepted for the pediatric track. Not sure yet if I will be accepting but good luck to everyone!
  5. @take2 thanks for your insight!! I guess I should just wait and see if I'm even accepted to Vandy. Hopefully it's an easy decision! @psychNP try not to feel too discouraged! Take some time to feel however you need to feel about it, but these decisions aren't a testament to your capability or worth in healthcare! Keep trying!!
  6. Is anyone else waiting on Vanderbilt? Vandy was my first choice, but now comparing programs with BC I'm not sure. Housing costs seem to be significantly lower in the areas outside of Nashville that I've looked at, but I'm not sure about their block scheduling during the second year. The more I read about BC, the more I'm leaning towards it! Any of you have some insight into these two programs? To those still waiting, good luck!!! The wait can be torture but hang in there :) Hoping you all get good news.
  7. From what I've read on previous years' posts, scholarship information comes after you accept your offer! I could be wrong though, and I'm sure they'll give more information on admit day. I'm from CA so I'm not sure I'll make it out there :/ but hopefully you all can share if you are able to!
  8. Accepted for Peds!! So excited and relieved! Good luck to everyone and congrats!
  9. Also, what track did you apply for?
  10. So glad I found this forum! I have been anxiously awaiting to hear back from a lot of schools (still waiting on about 7 to be exact). MGH also just received my fall grades last week. I've lurked through past forums and it looks like applicants are notified around the second week of February. The wait has been killer, I'm really just hoping to get in somewhere at this point!! @blessingoverflow I'm also from CA! Up north though :) Good luck to you and everyone else who's waiting to hear a decision!
  11. Hey all! I saw a few others have interviews tomorrow, the 20th. I was wondering what everyone's plan is for the rain?? I don't really have any professional shoes that are good for rain so I'm a little concerned...
  12. I know this question has been asked previously, but does anyone know how many students are interviewed vs how many are accepted?? I'm feeling more and more nervous as Feb approaches! Good luck to everyone :)
  13. I just had my interview this morning. It was extremely casual and was just under 20 minutes. She talked mostly about the structure of the program and only asked me two questions, why Vanderbilt and one random question about my resume. I applied for the prespecialty pediatric primary care program. I actually did my interview early since I'll be traveling out of the country during this program's interviews.
  14. My last name's an N! Let's stay hopeful @icmarr!
  15. Congrats to you both!! So exciting :) Do you mind me asking what your last names start with? I'm hoping/thinking maybe they're going alphabetical?? Fingers crossed hahah
