SBU NURSING APPLICANTS FOR FALL 2017

Hey guys! I've decided to start this thread for all applicants. I know it's a bit early but I'm hoping we can all help each other! Last year I applied for the Basic BSN program and was chosen for an interview. Unfortunately, I wasn't selected for the program. I was accepted to SBU and decided to attend this year and take some classes. I've already received my associate degree in Liberal Arts from NCC. Where is everyone transferring from?

Soo nervous as well!! The wait is killing me. I have friends who've already heard back from Suffolk's nursing and it's making me really anxious lol

A friend of mine who is currently in the program was told that by one of the professors involved with the admissions process.... who knows but that would be great!

I heard suffolk only had 20-30 seats available this time! Is it always that selective?

I was actually hoping we'd hear back in only two more weeks since that will be the 5 week mark from my interview date and they told my group 5-6 weeks. Guess I was just being optimistic lol

Ms I think they meant 5 weeks from the last interview

Officially 5 weeks since my interview!! Hopefully we'll all be hearing back next week!

Last year, students got the acceptance email on the second week of April.

Yes but that round was also told they'd hear back in 6-8 weeks, not 5-6.

Yes but that round was also told they'd hear back in 6-8 weeks, not 5-6.

I don't know about that.

This year, February 22nd was the last day they interviews people. I guess 5-6 weeks after that date it was they meant.

All I'm saying is that last year they were told 6-8 and we were all told 5-6 so I feel like we could possibly hear back sooner. Just being optimistic!

Just spoke with Stony Brook. Decisions will be "mid to late April"
