SBU NURSING APPLICANTS FOR FALL 2017

Hey guys! I've decided to start this thread for all applicants. I know it's a bit early but I'm hoping we can all help each other! Last year I applied for the Basic BSN program and was chosen for an interview. Unfortunately, I wasn't selected for the program. I was accepted to SBU and decided to attend this year and take some classes. I've already received my associate degree in Liberal Arts from NCC. Where is everyone transferring from?

My friend spoke to a faculty member and said we won't hear back until the end of the month :(

This has been the longest 9 weeks of my life. But what's two more at this point I guess?

I heard there were over 1,000 applicants this year which is way more than last year's. Maybe that's why it's taking so long.

Literally every time I hear my email notification go off I have to check it right away.

Really hope everyone is doing okay! I've been meditating to relieve some of this anxiety lol.

I got my acceptance this morning and am so relieved I can't even express. I can't wait to start and look forward to meet everyone in the program. :)

Does anyone know if we get some sort of notification for accepting our admission? When I look at the link on solar now it just says that I've already either accepted or rejected an offer of admission and I just want to be absolutely certain I accepted lol
