SBU NURSING APPLICANTS FOR FALL 2017

Hey guys! I've decided to start this thread for all applicants. I know it's a bit early but I'm hoping we can all help each other! Last year I applied for the Basic BSN program and was chosen for an interview. Unfortunately, I wasn't selected for the program. I was accepted to SBU and decided to attend this year and take some classes. I've already received my associate degree in Liberal Arts from NCC. Where is everyone transferring from?

Just spoke with Stony Brook. Decisions will be "mid to late April"

I spoke to the head of the nursing school program.

What a shame we won't know for a few more weeks. I was mentally preparing myself for a decision by beginning of April. I suppose once you've waited for something for a while, a little longer isn't much of a difference

I emailed the head of the program just to confirm this info and she told me we'd hear back by the beginning of May:/

Has anyone heard anything yet? I have heard from a bunch of different people different times we would be hear back..This waiting is giving me anxiety!!

Haven't heard anything. Last year they heard back April 12th so fingers crossed we'll be hearing back next week!!

Hey guys today is April 12th, this was the day class of 2018 found out decisions....any one get an acceptance yet??

Nada!! But no news is good news at this point, I know some years rejection emails went out first!

I have not heard. I've been soo anxious waiting to hear so I'm pretty disappointed that we haven't heard back yet. I wonder why it's taking so long this year.
