Nursing Students School Programs

I have decided to create a new thread for the ones that are going to apply to the ASN program at Pasco-Hernando State College. Hopefully we can share information and give some emotional support to each other :)

I was reading in the previous thread about their score system that works based on TEAS score + GPA + County residency.

My Pre-req GPA is 3.7 and I am in county resident.

I haven't take my TEAS test yet, but will post the results as soon as I have it and hopefully I will have some chance!

Is there anyone in the same boat?

I just went by West campus and applied! I'm so nervous! Is anyone else like me and gets nervous that they won't even get the application for some reason? Now I'm going to go crazy until I get my acknowledgment letter. How long did it take you all to get your acknowledgment letter?

I got a 62% on my teas and i am applying to the lpn program at phsc. Do you guys think i will get in?

I turned in my application yesterday!! 4.0 GPA 75 proficient on the TEAS. Composite score is 87.4 I was told the board is meeting at the end of May to decide who gets accepted. We should have our letters by the middle of June!

Hello all! I turned in my application today for the LPN-RN Transition. I'm out of county, so I'm not sure what my chances are. I'm just praying and being hopeful!

Hello, first of all... I want to say congrats on applying! That's the first big step! You only get 5 points for being in Pasco or Hernando counties. Your composite score is your GPA/1 X .45 + TEAS Score X .5 then add the two together. Sounds complicated, I know. If you post your GPA and TEAS scores I'll tell you your composite!

Thank you! I'm so nervous. I'm in Pinellas County, ten minutes up the road and I'd be considered Pasco County. Meh. I have a 2.83 pre-reg GPA & 80% on the TEAS.
