I have decided to create a new thread for the ones that are going to apply to the ASN program at Pasco-Hernando State College. Hopefully we can share information and give some emotional support to each other :)

I was reading in the previous thread about their score system that works based on TEAS score + GPA + County residency.

My Pre-req GPA is 3.7 and I am in county resident.

I haven't take my TEAS test yet, but will post the results as soon as I have it and hopefully I will have some chance!

Is there anyone in the same boat?

Anyone know when waitlisters are suppose to hear by?

I had been sent a email that stated 'If a seat becomes available prior to the start of class, those students that were placed on the wait list will be contacted in the order that they were ranked.' - email also said all the seats are currently filled

I had also sent a email to R.T. stating 'I have been put on the wait list for the west campus generic nursing program. When is it I will be notified if space becomes available?'

& he replied:

That is a difficult question to answer as seats become available for any number of reasons all the way up into August. That being said, the initial selectees have until next week to accept their seat. Once their deadline passes, any remaining seats will begin to be offered to wait list students in the order that they were ranked. Unfortunately I cannot divulge anyones position on the wait list.

So basically anytime? Hmm, well I applied to Galen and got in. I was hoping I'd hear back from pasco before i started.

yeah it's frustrating that there may be a possibility of being accepted, but such short notice. If I'm put on the waitlist at SPC I won't be notified till the end of July if I'm accepted or denied. Then will only have a few weeks before class starts to get everything done

HEY Dallassum, LPN! just reading this old feed, and I was wondering if you ever got a call back from PHSC since you were waitlisted?!
