Thought I would start a new thread on my next class coming up. I know Delta...you have already taken this class, and have commented elsewhere about some of the requirements.
Any words of wisdom you and others can share whould be appreciated.

I have to say I dislike this class more than the statistics class.
Wow! That speaks volumes...week 3 is upon us. Hang on!

Had no idea what most of my quiz questions were even about. Played best guess for answers. Tried to find the answers after all was said and done - and can't find half of them. Not a good sign at all......

I'm in both classes right now and Community is so time consuming!! The statistics class is not as difficult as I was expecting. I do not like math and have not taken a math class since 1989:) Still can't wait for both to be done!!!

Still trying to finish the windshield survey assignment...it's taking me FOREVERRRRRRRRRRRR! Maybe I am being an overachiever, but geez-louise.
That assignment appears so easy at first glance...it is NOT!!! I feel your pain...it took me forever to finish that darn assignment! I hate busy work with no real meaning. :barf01:
GOOD LUCK!
OK, I finished the ^&$% thing but I am going to sleep for a few hours and then proofread it one more time before submitting. This class seems to be my arch-nemesis. Makes 5 weeks seem reeeeeeally long. Some ETOH might be in order when this one is in the bag...
Yes, definitely some lovely fermented beverages will be in order!

Yes...I must say that quiz two was an entirely different animal than quiz one. Sheesh is all I can say!
Then you were one of the lucky ones because both quizes I took were pretty much the same. I guess on almost all of them. Had no idea what most of the stuff even was. Ready for another El Bombo!
I really don't understand the value of the quiz questions. These questions are centered on minutiae that is so mundane and inconsequential it is rendered invaluable for us as students. On some of the questions all of the answers could be correct. I think they need to reread chapter 8 and come up with a better system for teaching and evaluating the process of how they test us on the material.
I'm no Stephen Hawking, but I consider myself to be pretty intelligent. However, I found myself reading those quiz questions multiple times in order to ascertain what they were asking. It seems there is a lot of redundant terminology and, as you said, a focus on minutiae instead of overall concepts. *Sigh*
