We are having a run on twins named Heaven and Nevaeh. Gee...how original. I truly don't think people consider their children will have to grow up and live with these names as adults.

Also...twins Lindon and Landon. Kemariastorie, Jenayanalies (anyone notice the word anal in the middle of this one?? kindergarten is going to be a nightmare and their names will never fit on those applications with the blocks where you fill in letters)

I work with people who have spouses who are teachers. Here are a few names of children they have had in class. Shithead, twins Syphyllis and Gonorrhea. Another friends daughter's college roommate was Raspberry and her sister's name was Snowflake.

I really need to start writing these down at work so I don't forget them... We've had lots of Nevaehs and Paytons and Kaydens, but the weirdest name I can think of is actually one my well-meaning friends were going to give their daughter. They were looking for 'different' names for a long time, and had settled on Candida!

I only had the heart to tell them it was a kind of yeast, I couldn't tell them what candida is best known for... yikes!

Actress Anne Heche has an older son named Homer. She just named her new baby boy . . . . Atlas. Talk about having the weight of the world on your shoulders.

The baby's last name is Tupper. Maybe he will grow up to invent a new piece of Tupperware--the map keeper. That way his older brother can find his way Homer.

I do not know the patient personally, but we were having this discussion at lunch one day and a MA told me that a patient in her former office had named her daughter Ladasha (pronunciation) ----- spelling = La-a the "dash" is represented by the symbol in the spelling of the name. What in the world???
