We are at the exact same spot. I am completely done and waiting for my date for the CPNE. I am alternatively excited and anxious. I am trying to get settled into looking forward to it, because it will mean a milestone and accomplishment!:balloons:

Congrats.......I, too, just finished all of my requirements and am waiting for a CPNE date. A couple of friends in our Excelsior student nurses study group put their application in a couple of weeks prior to what I did, and have received their date for around mid-Feb 06 in TX (I submitted my application about mid Oct and they submitted theirs towards the first part of Oct)......so it's about 4 mos wait fromthe looks of it.......I opted to NOT test till after 16 April; however, I know that had I not put in that request, my date would be end of Feb/early March no doubt. From what I have heard, seems the Midwest is faster to get into, and I also heard that WI added another testing site. :rotfl:

Starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel; however, will not rest easy till totally completed with the CPNE:imbar

Hi... I am also waiting for a confirmation date for CPNE in Racine, Wisconsin. They received my application September 1 and EC is still working getting CE,s lined up there for March. Anyone else planning to attend Racine's CPNE in March? Is anyone going to EC's workshop in Memphis, TN. in January 2006?

You submitted your app in Sep and have a date in Mar for Racine? Friends in my study group submitted their apps in Oct and have a date in Feb (about mid Feb) for TX................same region............interesting.............hmmmmmmm, since I submitted my app a couple of weeks after they did, then I may not be too far off-base from what I requested ..........NOT to be scheduled prior to 16 April...............given the time frame/date you have for Racine............Are they having problems getting CE's up there or something???????? I have heard that there was another test site opened up in WI as well.............don't know exactly where...............somewhere in the Racine or Madison location.

Our study group is going to a CPNE prep in Jan................... :coollook:

I. am so happy for yall.m Please tell me how long it took. I still need so pre req's. I would have completed all requirments if Katrina did'nt happen. How long after all pre req's are done. Did you go thru College Network? Would greatly appreciate any info.

I called EC on thursday and my CPNE date is March 5-8 2006. I was floored it is so soon ! I thought about postponing, but knowing me, I would not buckle down to REALLY study before 3 months prior anyways...wish me luck !

I am sorry that I ever did Excelsior. I took my CPNE in Dallas 3 times. The CPNE staff at Medical Center was horrible. I saw one person pass. I think that its a big game for them to fail people.
