I have practice, memorized and dreamt the cpne & critical elements, but I still have a fear of not passing.:eek::eek: It's not lack of confidence, it simply is the too real fact, that there were people before me, study just as hard and knew just as much as me and did not pass. :sniff::sniff::sniff: I do have to say though, without that fear I don't think I would of known to study that hard. I'm hoping once I get there in 3weeks and 6 days, it will all fall into place and just pray for the best :bow::bow: Thanks for listening

It's perfectly normal to feel the way you do, and sadly the feeling doesn't go away until you pass. Now is a good time to learn some stress relieving techniques: deep breathing, progressive relaxation, yoga- anything. You can do this. It is possible to pass on the first try!

Cowbell and Xanax, baby!

Seriously, find a way to relax. Nerves killed me the first time through.

No, feeling does not go away. I agree with Sue to also add a cowbell and xanax. :clown: I swear I was shaking so bad!! I thought I was gonna puke. Somehow though when I was with the patients, I was calmer and much more in control of my nerves. Good Luck! You can do this.

I found that it went away... a couple of days after I passed. (Sorry.)

The good news is that you have a great resource here to ask questions and get support. We're cheering for you!

Every student handles the stress a little differently. I called EC from my hotel room and they put a faculty member on the phone to reassure me and answer a few last-minute questions. That worked well for me.

You've made it this far and you just have one more hurdle to clear!

take some deep breaths, take your time. if you can and it will work for you, make a grid for each pcs so that you don't forget critical elements and.... try to get some sleep during those three days.

good luck, you'll do fine. we're rooting for you.

I was far more excited than nervous by the time I got to Mansfield. It was just SO NICE to have an end in sight! I kept waiting for the nerves to hit, but they never really did, for which I am eternally grateful. It was almost ... fun? I don't know. I tried to have fun with it, anyway. I hope you can, too. :)

Deep breathing exercises and self talk really helped me. People thought I was going nuts when they saw me talking to myself. But....oh well. You're going to make it. We are here for you. :redbeathe
