Exactly. I agree "waiting for a job is very minute compared to life." My original post was in jest. Did people think I actually thought that it was the worst thing ever? Lol..

Well it certainly gave every impression that you actually thought it was the worst thing ever.
Especially when there are plenty of Chicken Little nursing posts around here; you never know whose being cheeky or sensitive...

I truly believe that every individual's greatest problem is THEIR greatest problem. There will always be a trump card. Why would anyone want to win? Lol
OP, waiting does suck. I hope it works out and if it doesn't I hope you get the chance to look back someday and be glad it didn't.

I understand what you mean about people taking it too literally. Truth is before my brother in law (25 years old) was injured in war then died 2 days later I wouldn't have taken it too literally. That experience of sitting by my sisters side and helping care for my 22 month old nephew while she was overwhelmed with grief changed me. Now I take everything much more literally. Wether thats a good thing or not I don't know. It has to do with your experiences in life and how they change you.
With all that said. I hope you get the job!! :)

I'd say it was waiting for the results of the second round of neuro exams to determine whether or not your father is brain dead.
I hope you get the job.
