Nurses Job Hunt

Good Afternoon!
After a few years out of work, I finally have a job offer! Since I have been out of the loop a while, I took a nursing refresher course during the summer, although clinically, I wasn't super confident [but usually confidence is my worst enemy.] Anyhow, It's in home health, which I have only done in a non-medical capacity as a 'caregiver.' But during the interview, I was asked, "Do you have a problem with big men?" The question caught me off guard, and I tried to get clarification and said "You mean like, strong?", but the interviewer kind of nodded only and repeated, "You know, just BIG." I'm trying to figure out if she meant...1] the home health pt she is thinking of assigning me is obese and hard to move....2] The pt might be personally inappropriate, and perhaps I have to be prepared that he is stronger...3] Am I prejudiced against heavy people.
Anyone have any ideas?
I have another question that I will post separately. THANKS

Wow, what an interesting question. I can't believe she wouldn't give you just a little more info. Please tell us when you figure out what she meant!
Will do!

I would ask for clarification. That is a very weird question itself.
I thought so, too. But the manager seemed very reluctant to provide details. I'm stopping by the office today....I'll ask again.

What did you find out?
Nothing. She said she could not give patient details until I was officially hired and assigned to the pt. I think that's BS. It's not like she was going to give his name. The whole thing was weird on the day of the interview - from them asking me my weight to this.

I'm sure the interviewer was referring to morbidly obese men...
Let's face it...discrimination against the obese is rampant in society and many people, including some healthcare workers, are secretly disgusted by them.
However, few people have anything against men who are big and tall in a brawny, muscular way.
