Getting around auto rejection application by lying??

I have been advised by many different people to apply for jobs before I graduate in August. I have tried to take people's advice but everytime I apply and the computer asks if I have my license I put no and I get an automatic rejection email. Many of the new grad positions opportunities/ deadlines are made for people graduating in May or December. I have considered marking yes to having a license just to get a call or at least get past being rejected immediately. Anybody have any ideas on what would be best to do? Thanks for your time.

I don't know what to do. I just want to get past the computer. I guess I would explain that I am in the process of graduating and getting a license.

Apply for jobs that don't require you to have a license yet now, and apply for those other jobs that do require you to have a license later. They have that listed on the application for a reason. They may want that position filled immediately. If you get contacted and tell them you lied and don't actually have one, you probably just blacklisted yourself from that facility or health system permanently.

I don't really see jobs that don't require a license. The awkward time I graduate puts me in the middle of all the residency programs. I'm just scared of being stuck after graduation for months because I waited.

Lying on a job application is a sure-fire path to negative consequences, particularly if it concerns such an important aspect of job qualifications.

Lying will not only get you rejected but can make you a permanent no hire. What are you going to fill in for a fake license number? Try calling HR or a nurse recruiter. They may be able to advise you what to enter to be considered or pull your application for review. Humans can override auto reject.

Do they have new grad programs? Are there nurse internships or residencies? Did you try for smaller facilities or LTACH or LTC?

The new grad deadlines to have your license are before I graduate and way after I graduate. For instance there is one where the deadline to have your license was August 1 and the next time they are having a residency is feb. I graduate August 19.

Try reaching out to the facilities sometimes there are exceptions especially if start date is day Sept and your state offers temporary practice permits. You may qualify for the Feb one. Ask your instructors for assistance and if your school has a career counselor.

Thanks I will try calling HR and see what they suggest. It's a legitimate question. I don't want to actually lie I just hate that it's set to auto reject apps for certain things so I was wondering what was the best way to get around this when I am a new grad trying to apply before graduation. I'm wondering if students are marking yes to certain questions in the hopes that they will have these items by the time they are supposed to work.

Here's the down and dirty: You are not eligible for jobs that require a license. You do not meet the qualifications.
