Morale is not a "thing" that can be improved. It is like hiring someone to "happy" you. Attitude comes from within as a result of how we experience the environment around us. The only way to create lasting change is to improve the environment. The only people who can do that are nursing leaders - who are ultimately responsible for creating and maintaining the practice environment.
