I had a punching bag in my dorm room in nursing school.....filled the bottom with sand...the top looked like Bozo. After a bad day, we'd all come home and wail on the poor clown.

I'd love to, but I can't find any docs who are willing to volunteer.

The patients' family members never volunteer either...Nor administrators...People from other departments that want nursing to do their jobs...The out of state person that's always doing just below the speed limit in the left lane when I'm trying to get to work on time...So many people that would be perfect and NONE of them will volunteer!

A great idea but our break room does not have enough room. They would never do it because one could possibly hurt their hand with punching even with gloves. Maybe a padded room where one gets a few minutes alone time? And that room has to be sound proof. That is my suggestion.
