My UK and Saudi documents were notarized in the Philippines. I mean certified true copy. Notarized and ctc are different. Notarized means that they confirm that the signatures and content are valid however for ctc they just certify that it is the true image and likeness of the original document.

Actually anyone can ctc the photocopy (e.g in school, the registrar can ctc our TOR) but AHPRA requires for us to have our photocopies certified by a notary public if we are not in Australia that is why we get confused with notarized and ctc.

Hi! thank you so much for the reply. What I actually meant are my documents from my employer here in Saudi such as coe,sos and workshop certificates. My lawyer said, it is not possible for him to notarize those documents since they were issued from another country. He can only provide an affidavit not notarization. However, he can notarize my school credentials since they were issued from the Philippines.

I don't know why he cannot certify them as true copies. As I have said, my documents from the UK and Saudi were certified in the Philippines because it's cheaper to have it done there than here in the UK. My saudi COE and training certificates were certified in the Philippines. My UK trainings as well. Ask AHPRA if that affidavit is okay or better yet find another lawyer who can.

Based on AHPRA's website, overseas applications may take 4-6 weeks but my letter was released sooner than the expected timeframe.

Hi. I cannot really say which school because the availability of slots change day by day. In my opinion, it is best to send enquiries to schools you are interested in.
