Guys, my prc license will expire on October this year. Do I have to renew it first before applying for a visa? It will take about a month before I can receive the renewed license and this might cause delay on the application and processing of visa..

I do not think that would be necessary as far as the visa is concerned. DIBP would be asking for your COA and proof of funds (?).

Anyway, best ask your school if they need it to be current. Once you re-apply after the Bridging Programme, you would need a current Certificate of Good Standing and the current status of your license might have an influence then.

Just wondering if you took inha's accommodation? And have you already submitted all the requirements needed by inha?

Hi Emcee.a: Sorry, it's been a while since I logged in. IHNA's rep promised me that our accommodation during the lecture part will be free (Until April intake I think?). The placement, I am not yet sure. We'll find out on the 1st day. Their accommodation options are indeed a bit pricey.

Yup you're right its until April intake their accommodation is free. I called them yesterday.

Need somw help/advise:

Correct me if I am wrong,..I just recently received my bridging referral letter from APHRA last January, what a great start to the year! ! I'm in for April intake at Lonsdale/alphine health making arrangements for payments and visa now.

My problem as I was going through my documents and communications from APHRA. I realized my IELTS exam will expire at the end of June which is also when my BP wiuld end ,.would I need to take IELTS Academic again? Or would my IELTS previousm0ly be enough? I read that as long as you have actively maintained continous practice/or employed as a registerd nurse using english as a primary language and you can provide evidence you dont need to do so, would the time I was undertaking BP be ok?!

As to certificate of good standing, this is from PRC correct? Can I request this from the australia would you think?

Would I also need to provide evidence of CPD? As post-bridging, we need to start all over again?

Hello there! It took a week before LA Trobe sent me an offer. :) I am still going God-permitting..but I have not completely processed enrollment. Update me if you are joining June intake too! :)

Hi im planning to join la trobe as well on june.they just gave me an account onthe student portal. However the start of the course is on june 29 as indicated on the account but i dont have the offer letter yet. Anyone here who have received their offer letters? My friend received hers and its on june 1. Anyone can confirm this?

Hello jotdi! The letter I received also indicates that the commencement of the program is on June 1. Has she enrolled? I'd like to meet my future batch mates :) hehe
