World Registration

Hi All,

im just new here, it's nice there is such informative and useful site like this.

I have question regarding CES in applying nclex for Illinois. I've that the requirments are CES and TOEFL. I have my CES but i'm a little bit confuse because my CES was Healthcare Profession & Science Report but in the requirements i've read the needed CES is Healthcare Profession & Science Course-By-Course Report. i just want to know if my CES will be accepted? i hope you could give me an idea on this.

thanks

I'm going to move this to the International forum so that you can get better advice.

I would suggest you check with the BON because they are the ones that make the final decision. I do know that the course by course is a bit more in-depth and that is what the BON may be looking for

Hi there!

For I know, your report will be accepted by IDFPR. That's the one they actually require. It's a little bit confusing because of the "course-by-course" used by IDFPR and CGFNS. If you haven't notice, there is an instruction in http://www.idfpr.com/DPR/APPLY/FORMS/CGFNS_02.pdf and it say there that "Request the "Full Education" report only if you think you will be attending graduate school in the United States some time in the future".

Have you submitted your application and fee at CTS? For I know, you have to wait for their approval before you can register for the NCLEX-RN exam at Pearson-Vue. If your CES report indicates that your education was conducted in english with english textbook then, probably your TOEFL will be waived. Inquire at CTS for sure answer. I already posted the contact number. Where are you from, by the way?

Not yet. I only submitted the CT-NUR form at CTS. The rest of the form were deferred because of the TOEFL. On my CES, it was stated that my education was conducted in English with English textbook.

hi now I am very confused because I don"t know whether BON Illinois is recieved my CES report and how can I understand to register for NCLEX with pearson view

can you help me?

I would like to take NCLEX and now I am studying for it but when to register?

thanks

I have already apply for licensure,I sent my application for RN-licensure to the BON Illinois

Did you apply and pay online (CTS website)? If not, you should because they will not process your application until you pay the corresponding fee of 88USD. Are you educated outside US? For I know, the licensing body of your current license will be the one that will submit the CT-NUR to CTS.

As a Foreign trained applicant we generally say wait for eligibility from the BON before registering with pearsonvue just in case there are any issues that need to be resolved.

here is the thing, last year of may, i filed my application for ces which is a requirement in nclex il. the type of ces is healthcare profession & science report (as per nclex il application form, page 4 c-1) by august of the same year, cgfns sent me a mail telling that i have met all the requirements and my ces has been approved. would that also mean that they have submitted a copy of the report to the il-bon?

last year of november, i started to process my nclex application. on the application form, i noticed that there's another requirement which i need to have- and that is the certification of passage of toefl. by that time, i was already preparing my application. i submitted the ct-nur form on the licensing body here in the philippines and they submitted the form to cts. the four-page application form, ed-nur, and the fp-nur are not yet been submitted to cts because i still need to have certification of passage of toefl. however, the fingerprint card i requested has not also been submitted to the approved livescan vendors certified by il state police. will it be possible if i will submit all the forms (four-page appliction,ed-nur,fp-nur) without the toefl certifacate then once i passed toefl, i'll just send the certificate to cts? or they should be submitted at one time?

i also need some help regarding the application form of nclex il.

a. part i of the four-page application form.

-should i write the total fee of $291 ($91 for cts and $200 for ncsbn on the reference sheet page 14.)?

b. partvii of the four-page application form (examination coding information)

-how can i fill in that part? does it mean that i should call cts and register for the examination then submit the licensure/examination application to cts?

another thing that really makes me confuse is the cgfns certicate and the visa screen program certification stated by the form[color=sandybrown] (page 5,d.)

if you could shed some light or provide me the steps i would really appreciate it. thanks alot for your help.
