Kingsborough Fall 2014 Clinical Applicants!

Who else is taking the NLN this coming monday/tuesday at kingsborough? What are everyone's thoughts of science 25?? Any concerns, comments, questions please feel free to discuss them here. Future applicants feel free to ask any questions, too!

Cant wait until clinicals! Currently have a 3.97 prereq GPA, completed all prereqs except for bio 51. All A's, aside from sci 25 with an A-

Nope physical is annual .. I like it better that way less of a headache!! Did they give you a paper to get filled out for the flu shot? You'll need that too. If they didn't give it to you yet maybe they will give it out at orientation.

I did not receive a letter for the flu shot. I heard it needs to be given in to the nursing department with the proof of malpractice insurance before class starts.

How do you know that class starts September 4th?

You can look up the academic schedule on kingsboroughs website! You will probably get some info about the flushot during orientation I'm guessing, although you'll have some time because your first 2 clinicals will be on campus not in the nursing home.

So does anyone know if we will be registered on Aug 26th or do we still have to register ourselves after the orientation. Just so I know if I should stop checking my Schedule. lol

@ nursingstudentmoe I would like to know that too. We are kinda hanging in limbo...can't plan anything:/

You will receive your class codes at orientation and will be able to register on cunyfirst after receiving them. You get your class codes as soon as you walk through the doors of orientation and will be seated with other people in the same section as you! Hope to see you all there I will be volunteering!

so just to be sure, I can hand in all the same papers( flu shot, drug test report, bloodwork, everything) that I handed in for this semester (fall 2014) for January, the next semester, (spring 2015) but i cannot for semester after that? ( fall 2015)
