labellefillette likes this. - Aug 27, '12 by orangern10The interview process is quite long, first you go in and speak to the recruiter, if she likes you then she'll setup an interview between you and a nurse manager of the type of floor you would like to work on. The interview with the manager is actually with a panel that consists of 4 people, the manager, two floor nurses and the recruiter sat in as well. The manager will talk to you about the floor, how many beds etc. patient ratio... Each member of the panel will ask you 1 - 2 situational/behavioral/personality type question.
Also as an fyi they said they prefer to place new grads on nights. - Oct 9, '12 by labellefilletteHi everyone I was wondering anyone knows or take the pharmacology test for nurse at New York hospital quens in flushing by. Please any info will be greatly appreciate .

- May 12 by estrellaCRI last applied to NYHQ in February, before I got my job offer at an NYC HHC hospital. I had applied via email, via fax and via online. They do post jobs on their website however they specify they want RNs with 3 or more years experience working in a hospital. I applied anyway but of course never heard back as I did not have hospital job experience then. I also know of 2 or 3 new grads that got in at NYHQ by one of their professors giving Recruitment their resume. So if no experience or connections for new grad then no job interview.
