Took the Kaplan diagnostic exam.. I've got 72.78%.. is this bad?

Heck no, thats an awesome score. I met with one of the proctors of the online videos available on Kaplan and she told me that my 59% was on track. the average score is only 65% and with that score you have a 97% chance of passing according to Kaplan standards and statistics. WoW really. I took my diagnostic test last week and got a 64 and I have been sitting on the edge of my seat since then because I want to retake the nclex June 30th, but I was concern that this score should be higher.

I was just going to come here and ask the same question. I got a 70.56, and I was thrilled. I was pretty sure I remembered that Kaplan suggested you get to 60-70% to be ready to test. Yay!!!!

I'm doing Kaplan now and they said if you get a 65 or higher on the diagnostic and/or question trainers 5, 6, 7 then you are pretty much ready to take the NCLEX. Hope this helps. I got a 68% on the diagnostic but havent done the others yet.

I got a 57% at the diagnostic exam, but I haven't taken the question trainers 1-3 yet.

I got a 73 on diagnosic, and on q trainers 1-5 75, 71, 65, 72, and 73. Haven't taken qt 6 and 7 yet. Kaplan says get at least 65 on QT 1-5 and aim for at least 60 on all Qbanks and QT 6 and 7. So far you're looking good.

Is this diagnostic test a 50 question test? I figured it'd be an even number score, but just wondering if it's the same as the one I took or not.
