  1. I too took Kaplan and was scoring in the low to mid 60s on all question trainers. I took the NCLEX today and got 75 questions, 18 of them were select all that applys. I didnt use the tree at all but I do feel that Kaplan helped. Only because you have access to many questions and the content part of the book is short and concise. I advise to read every rationale to every question that you do because thats how I studied mainly. I did the PV trick and so far so good. Good luck to everyone : )
  2. hopefully this shortage will be short lived
  3. good luck to you as well. Its really exciting but nerve wracking at the same time
  4. PRADO will you please PM me? It's not letting me message you for some reason. I would really appreciate it. Thanks
  5. I'm doing Kaplan now and they said if you get a 65 or higher on the diagnostic and/or question trainers 5, 6, 7 then you are pretty much ready to take the NCLEX. Hope this helps. I got a 68% on the diagnostic but havent done the others yet.
  6. I was told yesterday that they are finishing the panels on Monday and that she is personally calling everyone by the end of next week or the first part of the following week with either a yay or a nay.

  9. I'm graduating next week from an ADN program. Has anyone heard anything about the panel interviews?
  10. thanks Rkay. I havent heard from Overlake yet. Do you know if they mainly only take locals in their new grad programs? Are you interviewing for the new grad there? Thanks for all your insight, I really appreciate it.
  11. soon- what school is your friend graduating from? boo- where are you graduating from? I have a panel interview set up as well in early June. I wonder if the majority of us are precepting there?
  12. Are there particular cities that hire new grads more than others? Can anyone give me some kind of idea on where to start doing research on Texas areas. I would appreciate any information. Thanks
  13. Can anyone tell me anything about this hospital? Do they only look at local applicants? What is the payrate for new grads in the area? How much is the cost of living in the area and where would be a good city to live in close by? My husband and I are looking into possibly moving to Wa and I recently applied to Overlake's New Grad program. Thanks for any info
