September 2008 support group!

Hi everyone..

I just scheduled my exam awhile ago and finally taking it this September 15, 2008.

I was looking for the September 2008 Support Group and found their is none in existence so i figured to start one. :D

I am currently on Saunder's 4th Ed. and some other references like, Exam Cram, Illustrated Study Guide for the NCLEX-RN Exam, Prioritization, Delegation Assignment by Linda LaCharity and other Q and A books by Saunder's and Mosby.

But i am focusing more on Saunder's, i just like to have other references to understand topics which i am weak in.

I wasn't a very good student before or wasn't that much focus with my studies while in school. That's why i am very anxious now with my upcoming exam.

Now I am giving my best in my review and hoping and praying that i may pass it on the first try.

I really want and dreampt of becoming an RN and finally i am a test closer to becoming one.

Why dont you try Suzzane's Plan on the sticky. Being that you are taking it in September. I believe that gives you enough time to complete it. A lot of people on here have used her plan and passed. Just click on the Sticky at the top of the NCLEX discussion forum page.

hi im doing suzzanes plan and im on the last page of saunders book ..im going to email her for the second tip as soon as Im done ....try suzzanes plan

I was thinking of doing Suzanne's Plan. I test Sept. 23rd. How long did it take you toget through the chapters?

september is nearly here..

i just finished reviewing for the day. :yldhdbng: im so stress from the idea that im going to take it really soon. im kinna excited an nervous about my upcoming nclex. im praying hard that ill pass it.

i changed my exam date from september 15 to september 5. i really hope everything goes well...

i take my nclex for the 2nd time on september 26th :yeah:......i have been studying about 3 hours a day and answering anywhere from 75-100 questions per day.....i have to nail this exam this time around. i have to get a real job in a hospital, can't wait to get my feet wet and really start the learning process:redbeathe!! good luck to everyone-we can do it :up::up:!!

im trying to do 100 questions a day but yeh sometimes i only get up to 75..

sometimes when i watch the olympics i feel more determined to study!! haha.. i feel like im an olympian and passing my nclex will get me the Gold medal! hahaha.. :chuckle

hello to all september test takers..I'll be taking my exam for the 5th time on september 18..Im doing questions on the qbank,saunders cd and the nclex 3500.I also purchased a book by linda lacharity entitled prioritization,delegation and assignment..oN SEPT 8-17.I'll be having a live lecture on burbank.Excell is the name of the review..Goodluck to all of us.

I guess I should join this group too. I'm taking my boards September 8th. I went through Kaplan and have done all of the Q bank, still have a couple Q trainers to do. I've also been using Saunders QandA review CD for more questions. I also took a review class through work that was mainly content review, plus been reviewing content some on my own.

I'm a little nervous, but I really just want to get this out of the way. Hopefully we'll be able to offer each other the support we need so all of us can pass boards!! :nurse:

Thanks for starting the Sept./08 support group. I'm testing on the 18th for the 3rd time. Using Sauders 4th ed + CD, Kaplan, and www.nclextestanswers.com .

I become bored with using just one study guide. :yawn: I lose focus. :uhoh3: Does anybody have the same problem? Does anyone know how to make studying funner?:yeah:
